Every year, the Symposium features a special charity, offering steampunks the chance to enjoy giving back. This year’s charity is NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). NAMI works to spread awareness about a wide spectrum of mental illnesses, ranging from depression, to bipolar disorder, to schizophrenia.
