Symposium Entertainment – Ray Price (Stand Up Comic)

Ray Price is a rare find in comedy today. This sometimes cerebral, sometimes self-deprecating, but always funny guy makes an impression from his first appearance on stage. Hot, handsome, and sexy? Not Ray Price! He is three hundred plus pounds of alpha geek/computer nerd fun! Ray’s own description of himself as, “the funniest wizard ever to come out of any Dungeons and Dragons group” sets a tone for his show.

hsRay uses his intellect, of which he says, “I’m not sure what my IQ is, and I don’t like to brag but I’m almost certain it’s at least 3 digits,” to find the funny in such everyday events as raising children, driving a car, making Kool-Aid, and replacing the heat sink on a Socket 939 CPU.

Ray was born and grew up in Cincinnati, OH. He has always been a large guy. “I was born big”, says Ray, “in fact I was born in the years 1958 thru 1961”

His background in Computer Science isn’t usually the kind of training most comics receive. However, Ray’s comedy has now been seen in comedy clubs, colleges, wide screen televisions, and computer screens throughout the country. Ray is more than happy to bring his comedy wherever anyone needs a fat geek to help them laugh or to help upgrade their computer power supply to a new quad-rail, SLI capable ATX 2.2 PSU.

You can catch Ray’s comedy as part of the Wonderland Variety Show Friday night April 8th on the main stage in the Ferrara Room starting at 8:30 PM
