August 3rd, 1860 saw the outbreak of the Second Māori War, we logged our report of the August 2015 Cincinnati Steampunk Salon, and Lucretia Strange explored The Legends of Robin Hood in film and TV incarnations of the famous outlaw.

Tuesday, August 4th, 2015

August 4th, 1792 was the birthday of famous poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, M. Leigh Hood interviewed Clayton Belcher about the third annual Buswick, and we looked at a heavily Blade Runner influenced music video by the band Genesis.

Wednesday August 5th, 2015

August 5th, 1914 saw the advent of traffic lights in the USA, Dr. Pembroke brought us a review of the Steampunk short film The Backwater Gospel, and we got excited about Ye Olde Yellow Cabaret VI in Dayton, Ohio.

Thursday, August 6th, 2015

On August 6th, 1862 the Confederate ironside CSS Arkansas was destroyed, Chris Pavesic interviewed model and Steampunk extraordinaire Song Marshall, and the Airship Chronicles continued with a profile of the most famous of airships, the Hindenburg.

On August 7th, 1890 Sweden saw its last woman to be executed after a sensational case of murder and incest, Katie Lynn Daniels brought us reviews of three time travel books, and we invited you to geek out and help the Cincinnati Film Festival with their Fun-Raiser event this month.

August 8th, 1929 witnessed the airship Graf Zeppelin leave New Jersey for a trip around the world, and Chris Pavesic explored and reviewed several independent Steampunk films.
