The Pickled Brothers are Going to be WHERE?!

Travis, Susan, and Circe the Bird

Once Spring rolls around, the busy season descends on the Pickled Brothers Circus. This year, the “brothers” will be working separate shows for much of the year. Erik’s schedule as a climbing guide with Kentucky Rock & Adventure Guides is taking up a lot of his time. So Travis and Susan will be stepping up and adding new stunts to the shows that Erik can’t make.

At the end of April/beginning of May, Travis and Susan will be at the Ashville Viking Festival in Ashville, Ohio. Admission to this event is a canned food donation to the local food pantry. There will be vendors, a full day of entertainment, and of course lots of Vikings at this Viking-themed renaissance festival held next to Ashville Elementary School.

At the end of May, Travis and Susan head to Canada for Brantford Ontario’s Dickens Festival. More information on this event will be posted soon!

Every weekend in June, and the first 2 weekends in July, Travis and Susan will grace the stages and streets of Kentucky’s Highland Renaissance Festival in Eminence, KY! This event is in its 11th season, and the Pickled Brothers have been there since before day one!

Midsummer Masquerade

Of course July 16th is the Pandora Society’s Midsummer Masquerade at beautiful Moonlite Gardens at Coney Island in Cincinnati, OH.

In August the troupe is in negotiations with Dogwood Pass in Beaver, Ohio for shows there. Dates and times will be coming soon!

But the big news, the lead I’ve buried, starting September 3rd, and running every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, until October 23rd, Susan and Travis will be performing their fire-eating, sword swallowing, whip cracking, bed of nails… uh… laying show at the Ohio Renaissance Festival in Harveysburg, Ohio! This is the first time the Pickled Brothers Circus has performed at the Ohio Renaissance Festival since 2003, and we are really looking forward to our return.
