Mystology 101:The people of D’Ni and their lost civilization.

Presented by Michelle Boice & Thomas Boice

Delve deep into the core of many worlds as we explore the lost subterranean culture of the D’ Ni. If you’ve ever played the video game Myst, you have begun a journey into an elaborate world explored through three novels and some six games over the years. This panel will provide an introduction to these people, their culture (including its own language), and the basic storyline contained within the franchise.

Myst Banner

This panel will provide an introduction to these people, their culture (including its own language), and the basic storyline contained within the franchise. We will discuss the development of the mythos both internally from the in story perspective as well as externally from the production standpoint.

Speaker:

Michelle BoiceMichelle Boice earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and her Teaching Certificate from Wayne State University. She has extensive professional experience as a costumer born out of two parts necessity and three parts creativity and three parts geekery. She is self taught in art and craft of a seamstress and tailor as a requirement of joining Renaissance festivals, Celtic, pirate, haunted houses, stunt shows, re-enactment and Steam Punk with her (equally) eccentric husband Thomas who she also keeps in stitches.
