So what did you miss this week?

Monday, October 27th, we saw the opening of the New York subway system in 1904, there was a day three of voting update on the “ScreamPunk” contest, and we added SWFL Steampunks to the ever growing directory of airships and groups.

Tuesday, October 28th, the Statue of Liberty was officially dedicated in 1886, and we invited vendors to apply to be a part of the 2015 Voodoo Carnival vendor hall.

Wednesday, October 29th, we looked at the Black Tuesday of 1929, and with only two days of voting left came another “ScreamPunk” contest update. An alternative Top Five Steampunk Music Videos List was published, and we had another episode of the Uncommon Geek podcast.

Thursday, October 30th, we remembered failed American revolutionary Nat Turner who was captured in 1831, we interviewed artist Herr Döktor about his amazing creations, and we shared Weekend Recommendations for fun things to do.

Friday, October 31st, in 1940 the Battle of Britain came to an end, we discovered that Paul McCartney was Steampunk back in 1984, and it was the last day to vote in the “ScreamPunk” Costume Contest.

Saturday, November 1st, in 1894 Thomas Edison made a film of Annie Oakley, we looked at the basics of laser beams, and filed another field report from the Clan of Teks.

Sunday, November 2nd, we gave a loud cheer for the first official cheerleader in 1898, and took an excited look at Travis “Inspector Spacetime” Richey‘s latest project, and of course we ended the week with the Sunday Summary 🙂
