May 18th, 1812 saw justice for Spencer Perceval, the only British prime minister to have been assassinated, Phoebe Darqueling reviewed the TV mini-series Neverland, and we pondered on whether Cardboard Tube Dueling should return to Pandoracon next year?


Tuesday, May 19th, 2015

On May 19th, 1897 Oscar Wilde was released from prison, Phoebe Darqueling continued her review of the Infernal Devices book series with an article on Clockwork Prince, and we got excited about the return of the Cincinnati Geek Club.


Wednesday May 20th, 2015

May 20th, 1873 saw an evolutionary leap for the humble blue jeans, Dr. Pembroke took a look at puppy guts, and Episode 49 of the Uncommon Geek podcast discussed Artificial Intelligence.


Thursday, May 21st, 2015

May 21st, 1881 was the start of the American Red Cross, we screamed from the top of every tower that Mad Max – Fury Road is The Greatest Feminist Action Movie Ever!, and we celebrated the success of the Cincinnati Geek Club reboot.


Friday, May 22nd, 2015

May 22nd, 1849 Abraham Lincoln proved himself to be quite the inventor as well as vampire hunter, M. Leigh Hood took us for a tour of Ravenwood Castle in Hocking Hills, Ohio, and Calamity Dawn explored Gin as the most popular Steampunk booze and gave us a few recipes.


Saturday, May 23rd, 2015

May 23rd, 1829, we looked at the history of the accordion, Katie Lynn Daniels recommended a few Steampunk Anthologies, and we announced the new venue for the 2015 Cincinnati Midsummer Masquerade!


Sunday, May 24th, 2015

May 24th, 1830 we took a ride on the first U.S. revenue train, had a flashback to the 2013 Cincinnati Midsummer Masquerade, and then it was time for the Sunday Summary 🙂
