Tuesday, May 12th, 2015

May 12th, 1941, Germans invent the first modern computer, Phoebe Darqueling reviewed The Alchemist’s Letter, and Calamity Dawn looked back with nostalgia at ElfQuest.


Wednesday May 13th, 2015

May 13th, 1861, Queen Victoria declared Britain’s stance on the American Civil War, Dr. Pembroke looked at breasts, and we looked back at the very first Pandoracon.


Thursday, May 14th, 2015

May 14th, 1889 saw the birth of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, we had a book review of Clockwork Angel by Phoebe Darqueling, and we were reminded of the Houses of Pandoracon in anticipation of their return next year.


Friday, May 15th, 2015

May 15th, 1928, Mickey Mouse took to the screen for the first time in Plane Crazy, and Katie Lynn Daniels announced that the video game Myst is being made into a TV show for Hulu.


Saturday, May 16th, 2015

May 16th, 1888, Tesla presented alternating currents, and we reported back from the Steampunk World’s Fair in New Jersey.


Sunday, May 17th, 2015

May 17th, 1875, fifteen horses ran in the first Kentucky Derby, we filed another report on the Steampunk World’s Fair from Weird Review, and then it was time for the Sunday Summary 🙂
