Monday, January 26th, Australia rebelled over rum, the Weird Review reported on Pirates and Wenches, we revealed the list of Registered Airships for the 2015 Symposium Games, and this week saw the start of the Nerd’s Domain Call of Cthulhu podcast joining the Pandora Society.

Pop Haydn at his shocking bestTuesday, January 27th, Edison patents his lightbulb design, the Symposium proposed a way for role-playing Steampunks to find each other, and the Weird Review interviewed Steampunk magician Pop Haydn.

Wednesday, January 28th, saw the publication of Pride and Prejudice, we interviewed Pandora Society writer-in-residence and Symposium guest Leanna Renee Hieber, and learned about grave robbers Burke and Hare.

Thursday, January 29th, was the day that “The Raven” by Poe was first published, we ruined Labyrinth by examining Jareth’s emotional abuse of Sarah, and had a few Weekend Recommendations.

Friday, January 30th, the U.S. launched it’s first ironclad warship, we looked at the science of the Myst video game, and the British Vintage Car Show join the International Steampunk Symposium.

Saturday, January 31st, we discovered the first white dwarf star, got advice on “prejudice” from Aloysius Fox, and received a report from our Indianapolis friends at Circle City Aerodrome.

Sunday, February 1st, Thomas Edison (that busy chap) opened up the first film studio, we had the short story The Tao (and Riproaring Adventures) of Captain Nik Ve and His Flying Junk, the Om, and then it was time for the Sunday Summary.
