Sunday Summary Banner

So what did you miss this week?

This week in the highlights of “The Misadventures of The Pandora Society” we made plans to have tea with some Lolitas at Pandoracon, looked fondly back at weekend of Steampunk in Detroit, went into space with The B-52’s, got more Victorian medical advice from Dr. Pembroke, signed up to present panels at the next Steampunk Symposium, and drag queen Stixen Stones set fire to an opera house . . .

Monday, August 1st, 2016, the week began with a whirl through the Victorian and Edwardian period of time for This Week in History, and we added the Lolita Tea Party to the list of amazing things to do at Pandoracon this November.

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016, we added Asian Ball Jointed Dolls to the Pandoracon schedule, and gave our review of the recent Motor City Steam Con event in Detroit.

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016, the Vendor Applications for the 2017 International Symposium became publicly available, and we blasted off into space with the kitsch styles of The B-52’s “Is That You Mo-Dean?”

Thursday, August 4th, 2016 was the turn of Dr. Pembroke to share his Medicine Macabre with the tale of Kendal Black Drops, and we added the costume and accessories Swap Meet to the Pandoracon schedule.

Friday, August 5th, 2016, in a week of application forms, next up was the Presenter Application Form for the 2017 International Steampunk Symposium, and August 5th marked the anniversary of the First Electric Traffic Lights.

Saturday, August 6th, 2016, and M. Leigh Hood brought us her’s and Stixen Stones’s review and experience of a night at a opera house on fire, and we added Me-yaoi to the list of things you can find at Pandoracon this November.

Sunday, August 7th, 2016, it was time for the Sunday Summary 🙂

Coming Next Week . . .
