Pandoracon 2016 is at the same hotel we used for the first ever Pandoracon in 2012, and also in 2014 for the Steampunk Symposium; its layout is superb for gathering all the room parties in one area of the convention. Along the atrium area of the Crowne Plaza Blue Ash there are several suites that open both onto the atrium to the pool, and the hallways that have been designated the Geek Party Zone . . . actually the official title is Noise Friendly Area . . . but you get the idea.

At this time, the main party hallway (ahem, the Noise Friendly Area) is between suites 130 and 147, but if we need to expand then the 101 to 125 hallway will join the party. Suites are $119/night (plus tax and fees), which is only $20 more than a regular room to double your space.

scotty_tomarMost of Pandoracon’s room parties are being put on by fan groups, and we will be running a contest for the best room party in which attendees will be able to vote for their favorite Friday Night Party, and their favorite Saturday Night Party. The winner of Friday night will get the cost of their room covered for Friday night of Pandoracon 2017 and the¬†winner of Saturday¬†night will get the cost of their room covered for Saturday¬†night of Pandoracon 2017 . . . it might be possible to win both!

If you are going to run a room party at Pandoracon make sure to book a room in the Noise Friendly Area and request a suite in the 130 to 147 hallway by calling (513) 793-4500

To officially register your party please email admin@thepandorasociety.com with details of which suite you have booked and the theme (if any) of your party. Officially registered parties will be entered into the contest to win rooms for Pandoracon 2017, and will also be listed in our room party guide for attendees.

Most room parties will begin at 11PM, and each room is responsible for checking IDs to ensure that there is no underage drinking of alcohol. Each room must also follow The Pandora Society’s anti-harassment policies to ensure the well being of all convention attendees.
