Today we present to you another of our entries for the Goggles, Guns, & Gadgets contest, Valentine created by The Frozen Joke.

Valentine 3

The rotative multitubes machinegun “Hydre” from the gunsmith (and principale user) Kain Fergusson named sweetly “Valentine” is the first portative machine gun with a cadence of 1200 bullet per minute. The hydrolique système in the butstock is there to compensate the recoil and the model can use 50 round straight magazine, 120 round drum magazine or ammo belt of 500 rounds if you have the strength to carry them.

Valentine 2
She become famous when Fergusson use it to obliterate the McClusky gang in 1879 during the attack of the Nationnal bank train in Passadena. Three wagons where destroyed and 34 members passed out in less than 27 seconds. The 12 gangsters in the other wagon were shot by the double barrel 12 rouds gun (Cf page 4 of the catalogue) and the shotgun Cerberus (Cf page 6 of the catalogue).

I started with a pin wood plank, cut and sanded for obtaining the stock. Then I cut three disks for the rotating barrel, four aluminium tubes cut in half for the canons, and a drill for making all tha stuff spinning. It still an early version and I’m adding a few more things.

Due to a large number of entries, voting has been moved back a day to July 26th.
